The City of Bolinas, located just past the Audubon Canyon Ranch north of Stinson Beach, is a small community of 1,100 residents. Bolinas is thought to be a well-guarded secret within the spectacular West Marin region, a section of Marin County known for its scenic wonders. The area is a truly rural section of Marin encompassing miles of open ridge tops, wild coast lines, and pastoral dairy farms. It is home to such diverse wildlife as the gray whale, tule elk, elephant seal, bobcat, fox, and hundreds of bird species. A few of the amazing natural areas include Point Reyes National Seashore and the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
